Bext offers new FM broadcast antenna

Transmission products specialist Bext has a new high-power, high-gain FM (87.5 –108 MHz) antenna available, the TFLHOP.

It features a polarized omnidirectional pattern and is designed for stacking to up to 12 bays for 60 kW per array.

The TFLHOP is simple with no pressurization required and its included clamp will fit most masts.

Size-wise it runs 63 inches (1,700 mm) extension x 22 inches (550 mm) wide x 5 inches (120 mm) high and the weight on the mast will be a little over 20 pounds/around 10 kilograms per antenna.

Materials are all metal and DC grounded for lightning protection.

Customization options include null fill, beam tilt and a mini radome on the feed point.

Besides its U.S. base, Bext has clients in the Caribbean, Central and South America, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines and South Africa.
