Commercial Radio & Audio Chairman and ARN CEO, Ciaran Davis has announced the appointment of Lizzie Young as the industry body’s new CEO. Young most recently served as APAC CEO and global growth officer at WeAre8.
Young is a media and technology executive with 25 years of experience across multiple global markets, having worked on all media platforms in roles spanning commercial, content and operations.
Before joining WeAre8, Young was the managing director of local markets, group marketing, and commercial partnerships at Australian commercial TV network Nine, where she spent 12 years.
She has also spent over a decade in the audio industry, including seven years at GWR Radio/GCap (now Global Radio) in the United Kingdom, where she was commercial programming controller and head of agency sales. Additionally, she spent four years at Austereo in Brisbane and Sydney in various promotions, marketing and integration roles.
Young will begin her role at CRA on Aug. 7.
