NE Italy gets new DAB+ network

In northeast Italy the Friuli Venezia Giulia DAB consortium is trialling a DAB+ network broadcasting from Col Gaiardin in the province of Pordenone.

The Italian local radio and TV association Aeranti-Corallo made the announcement.

Friuli Venezia Giulia DAB consortium operates on the 9B frequency (204.640 MHz).

The Friuli Venezia Giulia DAB group currently consists of 15 radio broadcast stations: Radio Spazio 103; Radio Punto Zero 3 Venezie; Radio Company; Stereo Radio; Radio 80; Radio Padova; Easy Rock; Radio Wow 1; Radio Gelosa; Radio Birikina; Vibra Fm; Radio Marilù; Radio Piterpan; Radio Bellla & Monella; and Radio Sorrriso.
